The cabin was built using 44mm logs, providing robustness and durability. To ensure the cabin was comfortable and energy-efficient, 50mm insulation was used in the floor and a "warm roof system" consisting of 25mm insulation and 11mm OSB was installed.
To harmonise with the aesthetic of the client's garden and house finishes, the cabin was painted both internally and externally in speculum and anthracite. Dark grey laminate flooring was chosen for a protective and decorative finish, adding a touch of modernity and elegance to the rustic charm of the log cabin.
Construction Process
